Corazon
Tierra was already in college when she realized that she was anorexic.
When she began The ShamansDance Way, she discovered that she had been
anorexic since she was a little girl! During her 10 year training and
healing, Corazon adapted the power tools of The ShamansDance Way to
her own healing of anorexia. As she graduated as a Woman of Power, she had
the certificate to prove her power: she had transmuted the emotional wound
of anorexia into a Medicine, a path to heal and prevent body image
disorders.
The Beloved
BodySoul System® gives women and youth an experience of art that
brings them back to their bodies, opening a space for self-intimacy. It
helps them transform the negative perceptions that steal self-love.
Created by
Corazon Tierra, the
Beloved BodySoul Systemä
awakens the awareness of the body as the house of the Authentic Self,
the true source of personal power.
Participants learn to listen to the wisdom of their bodies, stopping the
self-war created by body image stereotypes. By learning to give space to
their Authentic Self in the world, they can release violence and
struggle.
Corazon has created the
Beloved BodySoul Collection
to offer you an integrated net of art events,
books and personal growth products that helps you to discover the
power of the Beloved BodySoul Systemä.
Through these services and products, Corazon shares the female wisdom
she discovered in her healing journey with you.
The core book for the
Beloved BodySoul Collection
is Almost Disappearing:
Return to the Territory of my Body. This is a magical autobiography
in which Corazon captures her own journey from an anorexic adolescent to a
Woman of Power. Corazon is available for
lectures on the experience of healing from anorexia and other related
topics, as well as for
literary readings of her upcoming novel. Her performance,
Unraveling Absence is a powerful journey through the physical experience
of anorexia and is available for organizations and as a cause or event
marketing resource.
Finally, the
Beloved BodySoul System® has
four different programs that serve different populations and address
different issues deeply connected to body-image and eating.
