In this uplifting presentation, Corazon brings a message of hope, showing that true recovery of anorexia is possible when we open ourselves to receive love. Corazon has lived free of eating disorders for more than 15 years. “No longer do I feel the need to control my life by losing weight. No longer do I reject food, love, pleasure,” said Corazon who is one of the few Latina experts in the USA specialized in body esteem. “Today when I look at myself in the mirror I see my authentic self, a woman whom I love unconditionally.” Highly motivational and creative, this presentation includes inspirational talk, a dance performance portraying her story, poetry readings from her book “Cuerpogragías” and a Q & A section.
